Ceremony: St.John the Apostle Catholic Church at 7601 Vine Street, Lincoln, NE 68505

The Church has a large parking lot with the main/handicapped accessible entrance on the north side. Once you arrive, you'll see signs directing you into the Church for the Order of Celebrating Matrimony Without Mass.

Reception: Scottish Rite Masonic Center at 332 Centennial Mall S, Lincoln, NE 68508

After the ceremony you may make your way to the reception hall. They have a parking garage to the north of the building that can be enter via ‘M’ Street. There is a 50-car parking lot to the east of the building. We request that this lot may be saved for elderly guests and wedding party members.

Any metered parking spots on nearby roads are free to park in after 6:00pm as well.

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk from the parking lot, (chit-chat) and find a seat.

We've reserved a room block at AmericInn Lincoln South Hotel. Please book your stay by May 14th, 2026 to guarantee a room in our block. Mention the Gamet Otte wedding while booking to receive our reduced rate.

Our dress code is Funky Formal.

We ask that you wear lightweight suits, in vibrant colors and evening/midi-length statement dresses. White dresses or dresses with white in them are fine with the bride :)

It will be early June in Nebraska so have removable layers to prepare for the (possible) heat. Dancing shoes are welcome and have fun with this!

Remember, personality encouraged.

Early/Mid June are noted anywhere between 63 degrees and upper 80s.

Ceremony and Reception are both held indoors. Keep water with you just incase and have removable layers for whatever the day may bring!

The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

There will be children at our wedding with the option of a kid’s meal on the RSVP. We will have a section in our reception venue that will have items to keep them entertained throughout the evening.

If you prefer to have an date night for the evening you are more than welcome to do that as well. The choice is yours!

We'll be serving dry snacks at cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. There'll be a beef, chicken and salmon options catered by Venue Restaurant & Lounge.

We'll also have dessert and after-party snacks for those attending late into the evening.

If you have any dietary restrictions, please make a note in your RSVP.

We will have select types of kegs, two signature drinks and wine available all night.

Bring cash/card for other drinks you’d love to sip on throughout the evening!

Yes, cash gifts are allowed. Please feel free to use our cash-fund located on our Registry to submit the amount of your choice. Additionally, a card box will be present at the wedding for your convenience.
